 The Naked Poets are a fairdinkum motley crew, that have gone on to sell thousands of albums, climb up the country music charts with bloody Aussie Poetry, while putting on the craziest unique shows that find them being described as ‘freaky fringe theatre’.  But in testing the Traditional Bush Poetry Image, they have gone on to win the most amazing array of Bush Laureate Awards, including 2 album of the Year Awards, two single recorded performance Of The Year Awards, and a host of other individual Awards and appearances for Muzza, Marco, Ray and Shirley, and the late Bobby Miller who’s book ‘ The Larrikin’ earned Marco Gliori and Saddlesaw Production both “Book Of The Year” Awards in 2006.
In 2007 Marco is again nominated for 3 Awards and will be releasing his new Alum Cowpokes & Indians,  Muzza has just released his new DVD and Cd, Pat Drummond (the singer) continues to see Shoestring recognized as one of the best independent Record Companies in Australia, Ray still flying after his individual win in Album Of The year 2 years ago, and Shirley just getting funnier.
